It was a teaching opportunity with the Clark County School District that brought newlyweds Randi and Bryan Wilkinson to Las Vegas last fall. It was perseverance and again, opportunity that helped them become the first buyers at Pardee Homes’ Capistrano neighborhood at Vista Cielo in North Las Vegas.
“We moved to Las Vegas in 2005 so Randi could begin a teaching job at Bracken Elementary School and I am applying to dental school at UNLV,” said Bryan Wilkinson. “We really like the North Las Vegas area and were excited to learn about Capistrano. We were quick to sign up on the interest list on the Pardee Homes website when the community was announced.”
The couple, married in July 2005, fell for Residence Four at Capistrano and its price tag. “We were glad to find a great house within our price range, have the opportunity to be the first buyers and choose a terrific homesite within the neighborhood,” said Bryan Wilkinson. The Wilkinson’s Residence Four measures approximately 1,783 square feet with three bedrooms, three baths, a den and two-bay garage. An optional fourth bedroom is offered in lieu of the den and an optional loft is offered in lieu of bedroom two. “We’re looking forward to making our home at Capistrano and are glad that we discovered the neighborhood early and enjoy being the first homebuyers,” said Bryan Wilkinson.
Pardee Homes’ Capistrano neighborhood at Vista Cielo is geared for convenience, featuring comfortable two-story homes with community amenities including a swimming pool, park and picnic area available exclusively to residents and their guests. Approximately 159 homes will be built at Capistrano with floor plans ranging in size from approximately 1,462 to 1,888 square feet with three to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three baths and two-bay garages. The homes also provide options for lofts, dens, kitchen nooks, tech areas and downstairs bedrooms. Lot sizes average approximately 2,500 square feet and pricing starts from approximately $256,450. “Capistrano offers homes designed with front courtyard entries, providing a unique atmosphere for buyers,” said Rob Tuvell, Regional Sales Director for Pardee Homes. “And, the homes provide the conveniences of a two-bay garage, back yards and upstairs laundry rooms and all homes will be built to ENERGYSTAR® standards.”
Residence Two at Capistrano measures approximately 1,462 square feet with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a spacious Great Room and two-bay garage. It can be built with an optional loft in lieu of bedroom two. Residence Three measures approximately 1,725 square feet with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a den and two-bay garage. It is available with an optional loft or optional retreat in lieu of bedroom two. Capistrano’s Residence Three X plan measures approximately 1,888 square feet with four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a den and two-bay garage. An optional retreat and two loft options are offered in the plan.
To reach Capistrano at Vista Cielo, take I-15 north to the Craig Road exit. Exit on Craig and turn left; travel west on Craig to Losee Road, where you will turn right. The community is ahead on the left, approximately one-half mile south of Ann Road. Vista Cielo is located near new retail centers and schools, including the newly completed Shadow Creek Market Place, anchored by a Smith’s grocery story. “The Vista Cielo planned community will feature cul-de-sac streets connected by greenbelt areas and four small parks with such amenities as a playground, barbecue area, half-basketball court and community swimming pools,” said Tuvell.
Additional neighborhoods at Vista Cielo include Cordova, which features four floor plans that range in size from approximately 1,521 square feet to approximately 2,379 square feet with up to five bedrooms and three baths. Prices start from approximately $279,950 and all homes will be ENERGYSTAR®-rated. According to Tuvell, Laguna will be the third community at Vista Cielo and is scheduled to open later this summer. Laguna will offer four floor plans with up to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and approximately 1,985 square feet.
