Elizabeth and Mike Mullally and their families are living the next generation of what has become a Pardee Homes’ legacy at Prescott Park in North Las Vegas. And, their children – first cousins Dylan Mullally, age 10 months, and Liam Hinton, age eight months, played a big role in their home buying decisions.
“We wanted the boys to grow up near each other and play with each other in the 4.5 acre park that is the centerpiece of Prescott Park,” said Elizabeth Mullally.
The siblings grew up in a Pardee Home in Spring Valley with Elizabeth attending Clark High School and Mike attending Durango High School. Their mother has resided in the same Pardee Home since 1979.
It was Mike and his wife Amy Mullally that moved first into Pardee’s Reston at Prescott Park neighborhood in early 2006.
“We have always loved Pardee,” said Mike Mullally. “We were living in the northwest already but wanted a bigger house with a three-car garage and room for us to grow and we discovered the Plan 4X at Reston, which has everything we need.”
Mike and Amy helped convince Elizabeth and her family, which includes daughter Lexi Steimer, age 11, husband Tom Hinton and infant Liam to make the move north to Prescott Park.
“We have outgrown our current house and purchased the Plan 2 at Rockwood, which is just a short distance from Mike and Amy’s home. We look forward to raising our families in our Pardee Homes.”
And, the siblings are hoping their mom will decide to make the move, too, to Prescott Park. “We plan to bring Mom up to tour the models at Reston and Rockwood in the near future so hopefully she will decide that it’s time for a new Pardee Home as well,” said Mike Mullally.
Prescott Park is centered around a 4.5-acre community park which features a tot lot and playground structure, climbing wall, game tables, basketball half-court, large open field, amphitheater, picnic benches, barbeque grill and shade structure. And, this park is available exclusively to the residents of Reston and Rockwood and their guests.
“Rockwood offers homes priced from $292,450 and Reston features homes priced from $323,450, both of which represent tremendous value in this booming North Las Vegas area,” said Pardee Homes’ Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell. “And, few neighborhoods in this price range feature their own park.”
Rockwood’s one- and two-story floor plans offer three to five bedrooms, up to three-and-a-half baths and two- or three-bay garages in approximately 1,596 to 2,917 square feet. Lot sizes average approximately 4,500 square feet, and pricing ranges from approximately $292,450 to approximately $412,950.
Reston’s unique collection of homes includes one- and two-story floor plans offering up to five bedrooms and three baths and two- or three-bay garages in approximately 1,717 to 2,759 square feet. Lot sizes average approximately 6,000 square feet, and prices range from approximately $323,450 to approximately $405,950.
The homes have been designed with a lot of flexibility with options to accommodate a variety of buyers, explained Tuvell. Examples include offices, dens, bonus rooms, lofts and even an optional expanded kitchen.
Elizabeth Mullally and Tom Hinton chose Rockwood Plan Two, which measures approximately 1,688 square feet with three bedrooms, a den, two baths and two-bay garage in a single-story design. The home can be built with an optional bedroom four in lieu of the den and an optional retreat off of the master bedroom in lieu of bedroom two.
Mike and Amy Mullally chose Reston Plan Four X, which measures approximately 2,759 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths and three-bay garage in a single-story design with a unique second floor bonus room.
