Most recently, Campus Canyon Elementary School was honored as a California Distinguished School for being one of the state’s most exemplary and inspiring public schools for 2006. Moorpark High School, also recognized for strong academics, won the National Academic Decathlon in 1999 and continues to pride itself on high academic achievement. Mesa Verde Middle School has also been identified by the Moorpark Unified School District for community residents.
