Within walking distance of Prescott Park's homes is a 4.5-acre park that includes a rose garden, numerous picnic areas, barbecue grills and play areas. Discovery Park, with a lake, water-play area and interactive dinosaur encounter, is close at Aliante, as is the championship Aliante Golf Course. It's just a short drive to hiking and recreation at Mt. Charleston, to movie theaters and casinos, even to the Strip.

Prescott Park is ideally situated for convenient shopping with six centers within easy driving distance. Each center hosts a major supermarket, like Vons, Albertsons or Sam's Club, along with a variety of stores to take care of family shopping needs, from a Wal-Mart Supercenter to Home Depot and Target. For fashion shopping, Meadows Mall is close. And dozens of family-style restaurants are easily accessible within five miles of the community.
