Pardee Homes Celebrates Arbor Day in Henderson

Arbor Day festivities included a performance by Henderson fourth graders and dedication of Pardee Homes’ 65th Anniversary tree.

In 2017, in honor of Pardee Homes’ 65th Anniversary in Southern Nevada, we pledged to plant 65 trees across Henderson community parks. We’re proud to announce the 65th tree officially arrived to Morrell Park, located at 500 Harris Street, in downtown Henderson.

The anniversary celebration concluded on Arbor Day, April 27, with the dedication of a commemorative plaque adjacent to Pardee’s 65th tree.  Henderson Councilwoman Gerri Schroder, Henderson Parks Superintendent Doug Guild and Municipal Forester Preston Goodman joined Pardee executives at the ceremony.

Pardee Homes would like to thank all the families that have allowed us to continue building in the Southern Nevada area for so many years. These trees are intended to commemorate our dedication to sustainable neighborhoods and give back to the community that has graciously accepted us.
