Pardee Homes Gives Back in the Inland Empire
Pardee Homes Team Members Serving Thanksgiving at Carol’s Kitchen in Beaumont
At Pardee Homes, we believe in giving back to the communities where our Pardee families live and helping the charities that support those communities. It’s a true joy for our team members to participate in these community giving events. November and December was a busy time of volunteering for Pardee Homes teams in the Inland Empire.
First, Pardee Homes’ Inland Empire Sales and Design teams took a little time out to deliver meals to homebound seniors through Meals on Wheels America – the oldest and largest national organization supporting 5,000+ community programs nationwide that are dedicated to addressing senior hunger and isolation. Visit our Facebook for a fun group photo from that day.
Pardee Homes’ Inland Empire Sundance Team was also busy, volunteering at Carol’s Kitchen in Beaumont. Carol’s Kitchen is a soup kitchen that feeds the hungry in the San Gorgonio Pass areas. The team had a wonderful time serving Thanksgiving lunch. See photos from the day on Facebook.
Members of the Pardee Homes Inland Empire team also assembled care kits for the homeless with HomeAid Inland Empire, a non-profit charity dedicated to assisting individuals and families who are transitionally homeless due to circumstances beyond their control. We love helping this important group. Check out our pictures on Facebook.
Continuing our support of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month in November, Pardee Homes Inland Empire team members participated in a canned food drive helping three organizations: Corona Norco Rescue Mission, a transitional housing program for homeless men, women and children; Carol’s Kitchen in Beaumont; and Community Food Pantry of Murrieta, a group committed to providing food at no cost to residents of the Murrieta community whose personal resources are limited and who are unable to provide adequately for themselves and their families. We are grateful to support these wonderful organizations. See pictures of the final canned food roundup on our Facebook page.
Last but definitely not least, in December, Pardee Homes and some trade partners raised money for and gave back to Olive Crest in the city of Perris, an organization that provides emergency and long term shelter and care for abused, vulnerable and neglected children. Home essentials such as bedding and kitchen items were donated, and team members spent a Saturday with the fostered boys there, having a barbecue, playing games and handing out Christmas presents.
A special thank you to the Events and Wellness Committee–Lori Banon, Carol Cavazos, Nobelyn Salazar, Ana Perez, Sandra Isham, Kristi Scott, Lisa Cabral and Loretta Saginario–for their time in organizing these opportunities that allow team members to come together and make a difference. Pardee Homes is proud to serve all of our communities, and to support all these amazing organizations and the good work they’re doing.
