Pawtastic Pet Homes

Home Means Nevada

What do you get when “big house” homebuilders step up for HomeAid Southern Nevada? Pawsitively adorable designer pet homes with names like Pucci and Chewy Vuitton, for starters. And in honor of Nevada’s 150th anniversary, Spike’s Railroad Cottage and Home Means Nevada, both complete with water towers fit for even the fussiest Fido.

Pardee’s mini masterpieces, along with the collection of delightful pet homes built by other area homebuilders and supporters, are the darlings of HomeAid Southern Nevada’s primary fundraiser, Project Playhouse Pet Edition, which runs now through Oct. 24.

Five-dollar raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the 14 custom posh pet homes benefit HomeAid of Southern Nevada and its compassionate mission to build and maintain dignified housing for local homeless families.

Providing dignified housing is part of an overall effort to allow these families and individuals the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Since HomeAid Southern Nevada opened its doors, more than 95,000 square feet have been renovated, and more than 1,500 homeless children and adults have been served through the great work of countless builders, trades, sponsors and volunteers.

Pardee Homes’ Las Vegas Team Builds Pawtastic Pet Homes for HomeAid Southern Nevada’s Project Playhouse Pet Edition

Pardee Homes has a long history of giving back to the communities where we build, and that’s why we have been a supporter of HomeAid and Project Playhouse since 1997, when we donated our first playhouse in Orange County, California.

The month-long Project Playhouse Pet Edition celebration kicked off on Oct. 4 with a Parade of Pet Homes preview at Inspirada in Henderson and a star-studded event at Town Square Las Vegas, featuring local celebrities. The remainder of the month will include pet adoption days, elementary school field trips, pet home auctions, a silent auction and yes, a pet fashion show.

Would you like to help?
We invite you and your friends and family to visit Town Square Las Vegas to enjoy the event and purchase a raffle ticket. If you can’t make that, maybe you can follow the story this month on Facebook at Pardee Homes Las Vegas and show your support with a few “paws up” on the Project Playhouse Pet Edition posts.
