Here are some of the most common questions our homebuyers have before they get started—and the answers too, of course.
What is a priority list?
A priority list is used to establish the order of buyers, appointments to select a homesite and purchase a home at select communities.
The priority list only affords you an opportunity to purchase a home, it does not guarantee you any right to do so.
How is the priority list order determined?
Your place on the priority list is based on multiple factors, including the date and time of your submission of a completed online pre-qualification application and whether you are a contingent or non-contingent customer.
To be eligible to purchase a home, you need to receive a positive pre-qualification assessment letter from TRI Pointe Connect, before the date that the home or homesite is made available for sale.
We make no guarantee that a particular home or homesite will be available and reserve the right to make changes to the priority list and the terms and conditions governing the same, at any time without notice
How do I join the priority list?
Your actual rate, payment, and costs could be higher. Get an official Loan Estimate before choosing a loan.
**Assumptions. You are purchasing a single family home and primary residence. Rate is fixed. Debt-to-income ratio is less than 41% and excellent credit. These assumptions are subject to change without notice.

The monthly payment illustration on this tool does not include amounts for property taxes, insurance premiums, homeowner’s association dues, or other factors that potentially could affect your monthly payment. Therefore, your actual monthly payment will be higher. Interest rates change frequently and without notice. Financing availability and terms will depend on your situation.
